RESEARCH TOOLS OF THE ICCH

WHICH TECHNIQUES AND TOOLS DOES THE ICCH USE?
The research groups involved in the International Chair in Cognitive Health (ICCH) have access to a range of technical and technological resources to support their work. These include advanced imaging equipment, such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalograms (EEG), state-of-the-art equipment for the registration of eye movements and physiological responses, as well as specialized software for data analysis and visualization. Besides, the ICCH has access to different virtual reality systems and simulators.
Additionally, many of the groups have access to large datasets, including behavioral, psychological, physiological, genetic and genomic data, which can be used to better understand the underlying causes of cognitive disorders. These resources allow the research groups to conduct high-quality, cutting-edge research that is contributing to the development of new treatments and therapies for cognitive disorders.
Furthermore, the ICCH has signed an international agreement with CogniFit Inc., world leading company specialized in cognitive evaluation and improvement through digital tools. This international agreement marks a significant partnership in the field of cognitive assessment and intervention. With CogniFit’s expertise in developing digital resources and the research capabilities of the ICCH network, this collaboration is sure to yield valuable insights and advancements in the field.
Thanks to thee agreement between the ICCH and CogniFit, all the research groups involved in this international network have full access to a Cognitive Research Platform to develop studies and manage laboratories, centers and clinics. Besides, all the participating research groups have full access to the Cognitive Assessment Battery (CAB)TM and to the different assessment and intervention products developed by CogniFit for scientific purposes.
We are thrilled to work together and contribute to the advancement of cognitive health on a global scale. The partnership will allow for the development of new and innovative digital solutions for cognitive healthcare. All parties are excited to begin this collaboration, as they believe it will greatly benefit all the organizations involved and further advance the field of cognitive science.
